A little update of the army for the tournament yesterday

The Spider riders, savage orcs and the mangler squig were painted by me and the Night goblins were painted by my brother, he also had a nice troll but not in the picture (the mangler was part of my brothers force for the tournament).

Close ups will follow within the next few days.

The tournament was lots of fun Tourny pics can be found here and results (our team Lean mean 'n' green) WE lost all three of our games but still learned a lot and this was our first fantasy tournament.

OK time for a little update.

For the spider riders i have decided to buy new models as the other were gonna take a little to long to strip and seeing as im running out of time it was better to start from new.

Here is a progress shot of the Goblin spider riders. Skin is all done on the Gobbos and the Goblin Big Boss. The spiders have just had a couple base coats at the moment.

I have Also managed to get all the skin done on the Savage Orc Warboss. I have decided to go with a slightly Darker skin tome on him.

Savage orcs and Forest goblin spider riders

Welcome to the first part of the fantasy project im working on. These are some W.I.P shots of the half of my army for the doubles fantasy tourny at the end of this month.

First up a Unit of Savage orcs with Savage orc Warboss.

Next up a unit of 5 Savage Orc Boarboyz

And lastly a unit of Forest goblin Spider riders. I still ned to convert up a Goblin Big boss to go in this unit and they all ned striping back to Bare plastic as these were brought off Ebay as is. To strip them i will be using fairy power spary which does a nice job of cleaning them up.

Hi welcome to my blog.

This is a place to showcase some of my current and in progress miniature painting projects. I have been back in the hobby for about a year and a half now and now feel a bit more confident about showing some of my work. All constructice comments and critisisms welcome.

Hopefully i will be able to post some of my current W.I.P later this week Which include 2 armies im working on for a couple of little tournaments for Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40k which take place the end of this month and the start of April.
